Van Veen, Bialecki, Brooks, Roelofs, Nijman and Slevin all into Last 16 at PDC Development Tour 12

Gian van Veen, Sebastian Bialecki, Bradley Brooks, Owen Roelofs, Wessel Nijman and Dylan Slevin are all into the Last 16 of PDC Development Tour 11.

Bradley Brooks will aim to make it back to back later this evening after winning the opening title of the day.

Early forerunner Luke Littler lost to Nijman in the Last 32. The top tie will see Brooks face Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, while in an all Dutch affair, it is Jurjen van der Velde v Nijman.

The PDC Development Tour is considered the breeding ground of the PDC. Talented players have the opportunity to further develop their gift on this circuit. Players may enter as soon as they reach the age of 16. They may then join up to and including the season in which they turn 24.

Each tournament pays out £15,000 in prize money, so the prize pool for the entire circuit of a total of 24 tournaments consists of £360,000.

From reaching the last 64, players can earn prize money, starting with £75. That amount then increases with each round. The winner collects a handsome £2,500.
