The 22-year old's signing was announced after he earned a Tour Card on
day one of UK Q-School on Thursday. It is understood, however, that the signing was agreed a matter of months before Cadby signed up for Q-School. A hastily-deleted tweet by Target ahead of the qualifying event in Wigan noted the Australian as one of the 'Target team'.
The 2016 World Youth champion has already made plenty of headlines in darts. 'The King' has put in some exceptional performances, notably at the Perth Masters and Auckland Masters. And he has also attracted attention for his on-stage antics. Clashes with Phil Taylor and Gerwyn Price have raised plenty of debate about the talented young Australian.
Cadby now joins the recently retired Taylor in the Target ranks. Rob Cross, Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis are among the other big names affiliated with the Harlow-based company.
