Phil Taylor will begin a weight loss challenge with an incentive added to it for the 16 time World Champion to stick to it over the next few months.

Taylor has of course been away from the tour for some time now during retirement and he wants to use not only that time but also the lockdown to get healthy: "I'm going to start losing some weight so every stone I lose, I'm going to donate £5,000 to the NHS and the key workers. It's going to cost me a small fortune."

A sponsor, TOTUM Sport has come on board and has decided to support Taylor during this with some hydration products to help during exercise: "When I go on my bike now, it stops me from getting cramp. It helps me with my hydration."

Taylor has already been active in raising money as he took part in a charity match on the Target Nexus board with Raymond van Barneveld. 15 180's were hit so no less than £ 15,000 was raised for the NHS charities.
