Dirk van Duijvenbode had a brilliant start to the year including a memorable run to the semi-finals in the Belgian Darts Championship. Despite that, he cannot continue this due to the Coronavirus lockdown which he admits is both good and bad.

“I indeed had my best period ever in the PDC, so it is very unfortunate that the circuit is now stopped. On the other hand, I did not have any days off during the first two months of the year, partly due to work obligations. So it was nice to have a little time off, but now it obviously takes too long. I hope that we can resume soon ”, says Van Duijvenbode in an interview with RTL7 Darts .
The 27-year old admitted that practice is still happening but not as much due to the end not being in sight as of yet: “In addition, I still throw a dart every now and then, but I don't actually practice a lot at the moment. It is still difficult if you have no purpose. Hopefully it will be clear soon what the next tournament will be, then I can start concentrating on that. ”
Viewers from Dutch darts channel RTL were also able to send in questions for 'The Titan' to answer. One of those questions was about antics before or during a game. "I don't like antics and it wouldn't work for me either," he added.
