The first ties of the European Darts Matchplay are complete with Scott Taylor and Bradley Brooks through to the second day of action in Mannheim.

Taylor started proceedings off fresh off his brilliant form at the BDO World Trophy and while he didn't play to that standard, he mounted a great comeback to see off Matthew Edgar.
The Bolton ace came from 4-2 down to see off 'Prime Time' 6-5 as the latter's poor form continues on the European Tour in his pursuit of keeping his Tour Card and potentially a World Championship spot.
Brooks on the otherhand defied a 101 average from Mark McGeeney on his European Tour debut to edge out the former Lakeside finalist.
'Bamm Bamm' who is known as one of the best young prospects showed that on the Mannheim stage with a 6-4 win to set up a clash with James Wade in Round Two.
