Ciaran Teehan has finalised the opening day of the latest weekend of PDC Development Tour action by seeing off Jurjen van der Velde in Event Nine in Wigan.

The Irishman saw off Jitse van der Wal, Bradly Roes, Jarred Cole and finally Van der Velde in the final.
It is his first Development Tour title with a Challenge Tour to his name also back in 2019 also in Wigan.
The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament, there is a prize fund of £15,000 to be distributed.
With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2024 and 2025.
