'The Face of Darts' Emma Paton signs multi-year deal as Winmau brand ambassador

Emma Paton who anchors the Sky Sports Darts coverage has been confirmed as a new UK Brand Ambassador for Winmau Darts in a multi-year deal.
Paton took over as the new 'Face of Darts' after Dave Clark retired from his long-standing role and Laura Woods also left the role after presenting the World Championship for many years also.
Replacing Clark in particular was seen as a mammoth task, he stepped down amid his long-term battle with Parkinson's but making the role her own, Paton has now become a hugely recognisable part of the growing sport especially with the marked rise of Luke Littler in the past year bringing the sport to new audiences.
She presents all tournaments shown on Sky Sports including the Premier League, World Championship, World Matchplay and World Grand Prix.
Also with Matchroom who run the sport sourcing their own coverage of World Series tournaments in particular, Paton has often presented those including the US Darts Masters in New York as well as other sporting events and on Sky Sports News where she got her start.
"You’ve seen her on your screens, bringing the biggest moments in darts to life – and now she’s officially part of the Winmau Team! Expect plenty of exciting content," the brand wrote on social media in confirming the news.
Comments on the post joked about Paton needing her own Gen 1 darts and the presenter responded that she does after being part of a Team Darts v Liverpool video where she teamed up with Stephen Bunting against Caoimhin Kelleher and Conor Bradley.
It was safe to say that it was Bunting who helped anchor the team. But it will likely be that in this role, she will help front part of the content from the darts brand who sponsor the PDC and are their board of choice. They also recently sponsored the revived Winmau World Masters.

- Likewise, I have always been a fan of Mervyn and with this worry on his mind, it explains why his form and ranking plummeted. It is really sad to hear this, often chatted to Mervyn and Tracey during the Lakeside days, both are lovely people. It does seem naive not acknowledging the fact it was earnings, surely there must be others in the same situation. - What’s with the dogs element to this story, trying to pull at the heart strings? Just goes to show that being a good dart player does not equate to being that bright. Seriously, ‘I thought you didn’t have to pay tax on winnings’ , your a pro dart player and its your line of work, your not playing the lottery or placing a bet. I think it was Phil Taylor who said you should put a third to one side of all winnings into a bank account, obviously Merv was wearing his earplugs at the time.Mysstree10-03-2025
- The thing is... the folks who "humiliated" Taylor in the Seniors Events never really achieved anything in the important events - like Taylor did. Taylor had/has nothing to prove... and beating Taylor after he had retired is of zero value. Taylor in his prime would have made easy work of all of them. Cheers.MrYnyslas197107-03-2025
