Fallon Sherrock was the latest player to lend her support to Bullseye Maths, the PDC's educational maths program. She visited Summerfield School in Milton Keynes, where she provided two special sessions for the students.
Bullseye Maths aims to get people of all ages excited about math by making the link between darts and maths in a playful and accessible way.
Students from both year classes visibly enjoyed the sessions, which were held outdoors for the first time. The sunny weather allowed the children to participate in a combination of practical darts games and worksheet tasks - a perfect blend of sport and education.
"The kids really got into it and it really helped with them with their maths - even just adding all their scores up," said Sherrock, whose son attends Summerfield School and participated in one of the sessions himself.
"When I was first playing I found it quite difficult because I didn't understand a lot but the more that I played it helped my maths."
Laura Reynolds, grade 7 teacher, looked back with satisfaction. "We all had a fantastic day. The children loved the Bullseye Maths experiences and getting to meet Fallon."
Gary Horsley, Director of Community & Education Projects at the Junior Darts Corporation, also praised Sherrock.
"It was fantastic to have Fallon Sherrock join us and she helped all the children enjoy two great sessions.
"An outdoor setting for Bullseye Maths was unique but with such great weather this helped to make the sessions enjoyable for both classes. We were delighted to see how engaged the students were and how much they got involved!"

Bullseye Maths was launched in 2022 to combine math and darts in an interactive way. Through the online platform on the PDC website, students can use the interactive Maths game and various downloadable worksheets, among other things. In addition, physical school sessions are organized, such as at Summerfield.
The project is supported by Vanquis, the UK's largest specialist bank for financially vulnerable clients, and is in partnership with the Junior Darts Corporation, the Room 180 Academy and GoDartsPro.
Sherrock shot to fame for becoming the first woman to win multiple games at the PDC World Darts Championship. Before the days of Luke Littler, it was Sherrock who became an overnight sensation.
