Luke Littler has once again delivered a special moment away from the oche. The reigning world champion and current world number one paid a surprise visit to a pub in Lichfield, England this week, much to the astonishment of the regulars.
‘The Nuke’ suddenly walked into The Feathers, a traditional English pub that had won a competition run by sponsor KP Nuts. As the grand prize, Littler came by in person for an evening of darts, photos, and meet-and-greets with local players and supporters.
No one in the pub had any idea what was about to happen. When the young Englishman, who recently added the Winmau World Masters to his résumé, walked in, the place erupted. The two-time world champion took plenty of time for selfies, chats, and of course a few legs of darts against those in attendance.
Littler clearly enjoyed the spontaneous nature of the evening. “Nights like this are what it’s all about. No-one expected me to walk in and it was a really great night," Littler said.
The partnership with KP Nuts, announced in December 2024, formed the basis for the visit. “Ever since I’ve worked with KP they’ve had this idea – and this lucky pub has won the competition. The atmosphere was unreal – everyone was so welcoming and up for a game," added The Nuke. “KP Nuts have been brilliant at helping bring moments like this to life, and I loved meeting the locals and throwing a few darts with them!”

“A night to remember”

It was also a night to remember for The Feathers’ landlords, Tracey and Mike Kingston. “The pub simply erupted when Luke walked through the door," they told local media. “We have never seen our regulars look more stunned. The reaction from everyone was amazing.”
One of the lucky few to face the world champion was Andy Matthews, a member of the local darts team. For him, it felt like a dream. “I can’t believe we’ve just played against Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler. We’re so grateful to KP Nuts and Luke for putting this event on for us."
According to Matthews, Littler’s unexpected arrival created a unique atmosphere. “The world champion walking into our local – everyone’s faces were a picture. It’s not something you get to do everyday.”
