Superb standard in the final
Spectators at Arena MK in Milton Keynes were treated to a superb final at the
Winmau World Masters 2026. It went all the way to a deciding set, where at 1-1 in legs the third leg would settle it. That one went to Littler, who claimed his first title at the Winmau World Masters on just his second appearance.
Littler averaged 104.72 in the final, while Humphries went even higher with 105.51. Combined, both finalists averaged over 105, which is extraordinary.
In the history of the Masters, it had only happened once before that the combined average of both finalists exceeded 105.
Michael van Gerwen won the Masters in 2017 with a stunning 109.42 average. In that final, he beat
Gary Anderson 11-7, with Anderson himself posting a 103.58 average. It should be noted that the Masters was not yet a ranking event at the time.
Michael van Gerwen lost 3-1 to Damon Heta in the first round of the Winmau World Masters 2026
