These 32 players have qualified for the World Grand Prix as cut-off reached after Swiss Darts Trophy

The field of participants for the 2024 World Grand Prix is complete. Last weekend's Swiss Darts Trophy was the last tournament in the qualification race, so it is now known which 32 will be allowed to participate in the double-in double-out tournament.

The World Grand Prix will take place Oct. 7-13 at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, where 32 players will compete for a major title. The top-16 in the world rankings and the top-16 in the Pro Tour rankings will be invited.

The top eight players on the PDC Order of Merit receive protected status in the draw, and cannot meet in the first round. Defending champion Luke Humphries is seeded first at the World Grand Prix. Michael Smith, Michael van Gerwen and Rob Cross enter the other three quarters. In addition, Nathan Aspinall, Dave Chisnall, Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton have also secured seeded status.

The other players who qualified through the world rankings are Damon Heta, Ross Smith, Peter Wright, Chris Dobey, Dimitri van den Bergh, Stephen Bunting, Danny Noppert and Josh Rock.

They will be joined by the sixteen players who managed to qualify for this event via the Pro Tour. Leading the list of Pro Tour qualifiers is Ryan Searle. Following him is teen sensation Luke Littler, one of the debutants at the World Grand Prix.

In addition to Littler, Gian van Veen, Ricardo Pietreczko, Ritchie Edhouse and Cameron Menzies will make their first appearance at the double-in double-out tournament. Familiar names such as Raymond van Barneveld, Mike de Decker, Gary Anderson and James Wade also qualified for the World Grand Prix via the Pro Tour.

For Wade, it will be his 20th consecutive participation in the World Grand Prix. 'The Machine' made his debut there in 2005 and has always competed since then. In 2007 and 2010, Wade won the tournament, while in 2014 he lost the final.
