During the pre-Christmas period, six players managed to record an average above 100 at the World Darts Championship. The absolute leader is Stephen Bunting, who handled Ryan Joyce (3-0) in the second round with a fantastic average of 107.28.

Top 16-year-old Luke Littler recorded an average of 106.12 during his impressive victory over Christian Kist (3-0). Chris Dobey managed to throw an average of 103.09 over a five-set period against William O'Connor (3-2).
Daryl Gurney won 3-1 in sets from Steve Beaton thanks to an average of 100.79, while Ryan Joyce hit a 100.32 average against Alex Spellman (3-1). On the opening night of the World Darts Championship, Michael Smith posted an average of 100.09 in his match win against Kevin Doets (3-2).
