This is what you need to know ahead of the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship draw on Thursday morning

The draw for the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship will take place on Thursday morning. From the 96 participants only 64 will go into the bags with the balls. The 32 seeded players have already been given a place in the tournament bracket.

The top 32 has a bye in the first round of the World Championship. The first round will see the 32 Pro Tour qualifiers taking on the 32 international qualifiers. Below you can read what else you need to know about the World Championship draw.

Just like the last few years, the draw will be broadcasted by Sky Sports News. The draw is expected to take place on Thursday morning at 09:30 GMT.

After the draw, the PDC will work on a schedule of play together with TV partners. It is expected that players will know at the end of this week or early next week when they have to play their first match.
