Florian Hempel, Daniel Klose and Niko Springer made an excellent start to the PDC Europe Super League on Monday by winning their first five group matches.

At the PDC Europe Super League in Niedernhausen, 24 German players are competing for a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship. During the first two days of play, the participants compete in four groups of six players each for a spot in the second group stage, which consists of two groups of eight players. Then the best four players from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will be completed in its entirety on Friday.
In Group A, Hempel won his group matches against Marvin Koch (6-2), David Schlichting (6-2), Franz Rötzsch (6-1), Fabian Schmutzler (6-2) and Marcel Gerdon (6-5). Klose started perfectly in Group C with victories against Christian Bunse (6-4), Nico Kurz (6-3), Michael Hurtz (6-4), Max Hopp (6-4) and Ole Holtkamp (6-4).
Springer is still unbeaten in Group D thanks to wins over Stefan Nilles (6-4), René Eidams (6-5), Jonas Aplowski (6-3), Manfred Bilderl (6-4) and Lukas Wenig (6-0). In Group B, Ricardo Pietreczko is in the lead. 'Pikachu' picked up wins in four of his five group matches.
