THROWBACK VIDEO: Beaton rolls back the years with nine-dart finish at German Darts Open

On Tuesday it was three years ago that Steve Beaton threw a nine-dart finish against Kirk Shepherd at the German Darts Open. The perfect leg was shown on PDCTV.

He became the oldest player ever in the PDC with a nine darter in a televised or streamed tournament.

The old record was held by Phil Taylor. The Power was 55 years and 9 days old when he hit a nine-darter at the Sydney Darts Masters in 2015. Beaton was 55 years and 21 days old at the time and improved the record by just 12 days.
