THROWBACK VIDEO: Cross takes on Van Gerwen in 2018 Brisbane Darts Masters final

The Brisbane Darts Masters is the next event on the agenda with the PDC's best going down under to play events in Australia and New Zealand as part of the World Series of Darts.

Rob Cross claimed the title last year defeating Michael van Gerwen and today we take a look back at that final between two of the best in the game.

Both will head into this year's event with a point to prove on both ends of the darting spectrum. Cross has just claimed the World Matchplay title for the first time and will as a result be looking to continue that form.

Van Gerwen himself has not been in the best of form especially on the World Series with losses to Michael Smith in Las Vegas and a shock comeback defeat to Martin Schindler in Cologne.
