The final of the 2012 World Cup of Darts had one of the most exciting finales in darts ever. The duel between England and Australia was decided via a shoot-out.

In the final match of the World Cup of Darts, Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis took a 3-0 lead. Thanks to Paul Nicholson's win over Lewis, Australia eventually forced a pairs tie.

The Australian duo won the team game to bring the score to 3-3. An all-deciding leg had to decide which country could finally return home with the world title.
