THROWBACK VIDEO: Taylor makes history with two nine-darters in one match during Premier League final

February was usually the month that the Premier League Darts would begin but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, that is not the case. As a result, DartsNews takes a look back at some of the best matches and moments from previous years.

Onto the next moment and one that stands out above many others with Phil Taylor making history back in 2010 when he became the first player in history to hit two nine-dart finishes in one game.

Taylor achieved the feat in defeating James Wade 10-8 in the final and it is one that has not been repeated since on TV with only Michael van Gerwen doing similar on the ProTour against Ryan Murray.
