As the World Matchplay edges closer with the draw and schedule being confirmed for the showpiece event which takes place in Blackpool from next weekend, we take a look at another classic moment.
This time it comes in the form of the 2008
World Matchplay final which saw
Phil Taylor and James Wade face off, the two main winners of this era of darts.
Taylor surged ahead in the tie as he often does and he capped it off with a showpiece finish which saw him pin a 132 checkout (Bull, Bull, D16) for the victory.
