With the World Grand Prix only a matter of days away, we take a look back at one of the classic finals of recent memory between Michael van Gerwen and Robert Thornton.
Going into that year's World Grand Prix final, Van Gerwen was the out and out favourite; but Thornton proved his metal when it mattered defeating the World Number One 5-4.
