Michael van Gerwen will aim to regain his European Championship title after a two year barren spell where James Wade and Rob Cross but as he begins his campaign against Darius Labanauskas, we take a look back at classic moment.
Van Gerwen was taking on the doyen of Dutch darts, Raymond van Barneveld and was behind in the tie at the 2014 European Championship.
But as he often does, he came from nowhere to smash in the perfect leg in Mulheim, can he hit another this weekend?
