The World Series of Darts barring the finals in Salzburg will not take place this year and that includes of course the Australia/New Zealand leg which is a fixture of the post World Matchplay calendar.

Among those include the Auckland Darts Masters now dubbed the NZ Darts Masters and in the latest Throwback Video, we take a look back at the 2018 final between Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld.

Van Gerwen in particular had a tough route through to the final seeing off Cody Harris and Gary Anderson before easing past Peter Wright; while for Van Barneveld, this match acts as one of the final times we saw the doyen of Dutch darts in a final before his career was curtailed this past World Championship.
