THROWBACK VIDEO: Webster hits 170 finish against Taylor during Premier League night in Nottingham

The Premier League continues with the latest night of action in Nottingham and as a result, we take a look back at classic moments from the past in the city.
We take a look back at a 170 finish from the 2011 edition of the Premier League when Mark Webster hit a 170 finish against Phil Taylor.
Despite hitting the highest possible finish, 'The Spider' did not defeat Taylor. The latter won the tie 8-5 with an average of almost 104.
It proved to be one of the best moments for Webster in the Premier League with him finishing last with two victories from fourteen games.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
