Starting tonight, the PDC
World Darts Championship sees the showpiece tournament return to the bright lights of Muswell Hill as
Peter Wright begins his defense at the Alexandra Palace.
Last time darting action was in North London, Wright sealed a superb final win over
Michael Smith for a second World title.

This led to criticism being levied at Smith as to whether he'd ever get over the line, since then Smith has done and is in the best form to seal a maiden World title.
While Wright due to off the oche issues goes in without match practice and not as the favourite to lift the title. What a difference a year makes.
