Top five highest losing averages at the PDC World Championship

Ahead of the PDC World Championship starting next weekend, we look at the five highest losing averages in the history of the tournament.

Raymond van Barneveld tops the list with his 2017 World Championship semi-final defeat to Michael van Gerwen when he lost 6-2 but hit a 109.34 average.
Jeffrey de Zwaan is next up on the list last year when he lost 3-1 to Rob Cross but hit a 106.09 average in his second round defeat to 'Voltage' in one of the best matches of the tournament last year.
Cristo Reyes famously set the record in 2017 but lost it straight away when Raymond van Barneveld faced Michael van Gerwen but he produced one of the performances of his life when he lost 4-2 to Mighty Mike with an average of 106.07.
Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson round out the list in 2016 and 2017 with 105.78 and 104.93 respectively, view it in full below:
