Top five highest tournament averages at The Masters (2013-2019)

The Masters 2020 begins tonight (January 31) to February 2 in the traditional start to the PDC season. Before the event, we take a look at the highest tournament averages in its six year history so far.

Michael van Gerwen as expected features heavily on the list with three of his title winning years in the top five.

The first being 2017 when he won the tournament defeating Gary Anderson in the final. He had an overall average of 106.07 over his four matches in Milton Keynes.

Anderson himself features second on the list with 105.49 during the same year when he lost out to Mighty Mike showing that in the end both were worthy finalists off a performance basis.

Then it is his 2018 win where he defeated Raymond van Barneveld in the final. He averaged 105.41 over the course of the tournament that year.

Phil Taylor's title win back in 2013, the opening year of the tournament also still stands with 105.38 the mark when it used to be held in Scotland. To round out the top five, it is MVG once again with 105.08 during the 2016 edition.
