The Grand Slam of Darts begins on Monday and as a result, we take a look back at the top ten highest averages in the history of the tournament.
Phil Taylor as expected is top of the standings with 114.65 against Christian Kist hit during the 2014 Group Stage. He is also further down the list with 112.37 against Wes Newton in the second round and 112.16 during the 2013 Group Stage against Stuart Kellett.
Taylor's second effort is the only one over the longer format with every high average barring that being in the Group Stage.
Case and point is the second highest with Geert De Vos producing a stunning display to thrash Jonny Clayton 5-0 with a 113.86. Michael Smith, Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson also have marks from recent years all in the Group Stages with 113.62, 112.66 and 112.54.
