The top ten highest set averages have been revealed for this year's 2020 PDC World Championship with Peter Wright leading the way.
Wright hit the highest average of 123.83 during his tie against Luke Humphries to reach the semi-finals; in what turned out to be one of his most integral runs during the tournament.
Michael van Gerwen is next up with 121.86 and 121.84. The first was hit in set three against Peter Wright in yesterday's final; as he went from around 101 to 121 upping his game.
Gerwyn Price and Ricky Evans round off the line-up with 120.24 and 118.66 respectively in the top five. At this year's World Championship showing the decreased standard in many ways; there were 172 sets which saw 100+ averages hit; while 110+ averages only accounted for around 23.
There was the most 100+ set averages in Round Three with 46. There were only 172 overall like alluded to; which only accounts for around 18 percent.
