Michael van Gerwen signs with Winmau Darts

Michael van Gerwen has signed a new darting manufacturer deal ending all the speculation as he joins Winmau Darts.

Van Gerwen will join the company on a five-year deal after leaving XQ Max Darts last week.

‘Mighty Mike’ was announced to a packed launch at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff just under 24 hours after losing out to Peter Wright in the PDC World Championship final.

He will use newly designed darts which will be revealed in the next few days after using the same known set up for the last eight years

Also the territory means a new darts shirt as well which will still see the trademark green and black colours donned.

He now joins the likes of Daryl Gurney, Steve Beaton, Paul Nicholson, Mark Webster and Scott Mitchell in being part of the company.

Winmau have been at the foray as a company for over 70 years and he has now joined one of the elite names in darts.
