Yesterday saw the sad news released that Chinese trailblazer Momo Zhou who became the second woman to play at the World Cup of Darts and the first for China passed away suddenly at the age of 31.
Confirmed by her sponsors Target, tributes soon rolled in from players sharing their shock and sadness at the news.
"We send our condolences to Momo's friends and family at this difficult time," said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.
"Momo was a popular figure on the circuit and made promising progress in her career, creating a legacy by becoming the first woman to represent China on the big stage."
Paul Nicholson, Kim Huybrechts, Laura Turner, Deta Hedman were among those to share tributes on Twitter.
