A trio of players lead the way after Night Six of
Premier League Darts action and the start of the second block in Milton Keynes.
Those are
Dimitri van den Bergh,
Nathan Aspinall and
Michael Van Gerwen who took another step closer albeit at an early stage still to the playoffs.
Van den Bergh saw off
Jonny Clayton 7-3 with a 102 average to hit the front early on in the night. The latter now slides down to fourth as a result of being on seven points after setting pace early on.
Aspinall produced the performance of the night averaging over 105 in seeing off
Peter Wright 7-3 while an under par Van Gerwen eased past winless
Glen Durrant who sits bottom.
Gary Anderson follows Clayton after victory over
Rob Cross while
Jose de Sousa is just behind after collecting his second win as both players escape the drop zone for now.
With one spot seemingly left to be decided though, it’s all to play for with Peter Wright, Rob Cross and
James Wade following on.
