On Friday, August 16 and Saturday August 17, the New Zealand Darts Masters is scheduled to take place at the Globox Arena in Hamilton. The World Series tournament will be broadcast by PDC.tv and ITV in the UK.
The New Zealand Darts Masters consists of two sessions. On Friday, the first round will be played from 08:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. UK time. Here the eight PDC top players will take on the eight local players from Australia and New Zealand. This can be viewed live on PDC.tv, but for ITV4 coverage, you will have to wait until 19:00.
The quarter-finals will take place on Saturday morning starting at 08;00 am. Following that, the semifinals and finals will be completed. Around 12:30 p.m. we will then know who is the winner of the New Zealand Darts Masters. Again this can be viewed live on PDC.tv but for ITV4 it will be a 17:00 start for delayed coverage.

Just like last year, Michael van Gerwen is absent from the World Series tournaments in "Down Under. Van Gerwen went under the knife for a new dental surgery in late July and is still recovering from it.
World champion Luke Humphries heads the field of 16 players in Hamilton. Humphries is one of two PDC representatives making their debut on New Zealand soil, with teen sensation Littler also breaking new ground after taking the darts world by storm over the past nine months including winning the Premier League Darts at the age of 17.
Rob Cross - the winner in Hamilton in 2023 - hopes to follow up his strong results at the World Series. Australian number one Damon Heta will try to shine on his own continent, while former world champions Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright will also make their appearances.
Dimitri Van den Bergh completes the list of PDC representatives. The UK Open champion gets to compete in the World Series tournament in New Zealand for the third time in his career. Australian darts legend Simon Whitlock, who along with Heta won the World Cup of Darts in 2022, tops the list of Oceanic representatives. Haupai Puha, New Zealand's best dart player has also received an invitation. The field of participants is further completed by Mark Cleaver, Kayden Milne, Ben Robb, Jonny Tata, Daniel Snookes and Jeremy Fagg.
