Two Euro Tour qualifiers for Franz Roetzsch; Max Hopp just misses return to main stage

Franz Roetzsch qualified for two Euro Tour tournaments Sunday at the Host Nation Qualifiers. The German earned a spot for the European Darts Grand Prix (April 19-21) and the Baltic Sea Darts Open (May 10-12).

Roetzsch won 6-4 over Oliver Mueller in the final round of the qualifying tournament for the European Darts Grand Prix, while holding off Sascha Stuhlemmer from qualifying for the Baltic Sea Darts Open.

Rene Eidams, Arno Merk and Niko Springer also managed to qualify for the European Darts Grand Prix. Moritz Hilger, Kevin Troppmann and Christopher Toonders will join Roetzsch at the Baltic Sea Darts Open. Max Hopp was close to qualifying for this tournament. However, the former youth world champion missed five match darts in his final against Troppmann, meaning 'The Maximiser' will have to wait a little longer for a return to the Euro Tour stage.
