Dale Gadsby and James Hurrell threw a nine-darter during the opening day of the 2023 PDC Challenge Tour on Friday.
Gale managed to hit the perfect leg during the first tournament of the day. The Englishman threw the nine-darter in the first leg of his match against Nico Plovier. He started with scores of 180 and 177 and then finished with a 144 finish.
James Hurrell managed to throw a leg in the shortest possible way later in the day in the PDC Challenge Tour 2 semi-final against Scott Mitchell. His nine-darter came via two 180 scores, before he landed a stunning 141 finish. However, he lost the match 5-4 to Mitchell, who then was beaten by Christian Kist in the final.
