Upcoming Euro Tour event in Hungary may provide special first

This coming weekend the twelfth Euro Tour tournament of 2023 will be played in Hungary. The Hungarian capital Budapest will host the Hungarian Darts Trophy from September 22 to 24.

A special record may be set during this event. The previous 11 Euro Tour tournaments produced as many as nine different winners. Also in 2019, the Euro Tour tournaments were won by nine different players. A new winner would therefore mean a record.

This year's Euro Tours were won by Dave Chisnall (2x), Gerwyn Price (2x), Michael Smith, Jonny Clayton, Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Rob Cross, Luke Humphries and Krzysztof Ratajski.
