Updated European Tour Order of Merit after Dutch Darts Championship: Smith and Noppert into top five

Michael Smith has moved up to fourth place on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit due to his final win at the Dutch Darts Championship.
Smith captured the title Sunday night in Zwolle by beating Danny Noppert in the final. Noppert is now number five on the ranking. The top five also includes Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and Rob Cross.
Andrew Gilding is up to 23rd in the race to Dortmund after reaching the semi-finals, while Callan Rydz is up to 26th after a similarly superb run. Dirk van Duijvenbode is now into seventh as his good form continued.
At the end of the season the 32 best players of the final ranking will participate in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from 27 to 30 October.

- There are 30 Players Championship rounds to play first throughout the year and you have to be in the top 64 to get to the finals.
