Gerwyn Price won the first European Tour of the season last weekend. With this title, 'The Iceman' leads the PDC European Tour Order of Merit as he did during the whole 2021 season.

Losing finalist Peter Wright is in second place, followed by semifinalists Jonny Clayton and Nathan Aspinall.

James Wade, Michael Smith, Dimitri van den Bergh and Danny Noppert are next as losing Quarter-Finalists.

There are only 43 players in the ranking, while 48 players took part in the International Darts Open.

The top 16 seeds was automatically qualified for the second round of this Euro Tour tournament. However, they had to win their first match for the prize money to count towards their ranking.

Devon Petersen, José de Sousa, Mensur Suljovic, Krzysztof Ratajski and Brendan Dolan did receive £2,000, but their prize money does not count towards the PDC European Tour Order of Merit.

At the end of the season, the 32 best players in the final ranking will participate in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from 27 to 30 October.
