Updated PDC Order of Merit after European Championship: Cross avoids major ranking drop, Noppert into top 16 for first time

The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the European Championship which took place this past weekend in Salzburg.

Rob Cross became a two time winner in the tournament ending his title drought and also avoiding a major ranking drop as a result.

Cross at the start of the weekend was at risk of dropping out of the top 30 in the world if he didn't defend his earnings but claimed a stunning win which only sees him go up one but also has potential big consequences for his darting future.

Danny Noppert has had a superb year and is into the top 16 in the world as a result of another run this weekend. He replaces Dirk van Duijvenbode as Dutch no.2.

While further up, Nathan Aspinall reaching the latter stages saw him regain his spot in the top 10 while it is afurther slide for Ian White, Simon Whitlock, Glen Durrant and also Daryl Gurney - with the latter falling seven places as he heads towards the top 30.
