Updated Players Championship Order of Merit: De Sousa moves up to eighth after second PDC title win

Jose de Sousa was the big mover with the Portuguese ace going up to eighth with only two events to go.

It represents a rise for him which has seen him essentially confirm a spot in the Last 64 after the world’s come what may.

Further up as well Gerwyn Price and Glen Durrant who claimed a title and final respectively have closed the gap on James Wade at the top.

They are only around £5,000 behind now so the number one seeding for Minehead could still be very much up for grabs.
