With certain tournaments such as the World Matchplay been and gone, the attention now turns to the 2020 PDC World Championship and qualification for the biggest event of the year.
There is eight floor tournaments, three Euro Tours and four ranking television tournaments left; as a result there is still plenty of chance to qualify outright.
The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross and Gary Anderson have already confirmed their place early on for the event at the Alexandra Palace but it is further down where there have been some movements as of late.
Mensur Suljovic who claimed victory at the Austrian Darts Championship
this past weekend has done his hopes of a top 10 seeding for Alexandra Palace a world of good going into ninth place on a 16-event countback ahead of Ian White.
Rowby-John Rodriguez has knocked Matthew Edgar out of the provisional spots as well after a good weekend in Vienna. James Wilson is the same after there were doubts as to him being a part of the line up.
At the moment though as well, if the field stays as it is there will be six players making their debuts at the Alexandra Palace. They include Glen Durrant and Jamie Hughes who have already assured their spots with Harry Ward, Mark McGeeney, Luke Woodhouse and Ritchie Edhouse also virtually qualified.
This means it will be an interesting next few months to see how many debutants we get at the Alexandra Palace and who in terms of well-known names misses out.
