The World Series Order of Merit has been updated after the latest event in the form of the Melbourne Darts Masters which was won by Michael van Gerwen.
After a poor start to his
World Series campaign, Van Gerwen is now into second. He claimed twelve points after winning in Melbourne, which means he climbs six spots on the World Series Order of Merit. The Dutchman is only behind leader Peter Wright now who gained further points due to a good run despite
being whitewashed by MVG.
Daryl Gurney after losing out to Van Gerwen in the final is into third; level on points with the world number one and Rob Cross. Brisbane Darts Masters champion Damon Heta is now fifth with 15 points.
There is one more event to come in Hamilton (New Zealand) next weekend, with the line-up for the
World Series of Dart Finals set to be confirmed.
