Raymond van Barneveld will be able to play in the first of two Players Championship events which begin today (Tuesday) in Barnsley despite his luggage being lost, it has been revealed.
Van Barneveld took to Twitter on Monday to reveal that his luggage had been left in Amsterdam by EasyJet; so he had no darts, no trousers and no shirt to play in during the double header and he would only receive everything back at noon on Tuesday.
'Barney' though followed that up by saying it had been sorted with the same shirt and darts being bought for him and him borrowing trousers off another player. This means we will see the Dutchman make his first appearance in a while on the ProTour this year.
