Van Barneveld makes it two from two with victory over Nijman, Evans eases past Mitchell in whitewash win

Van Barneveld is having his best run yet in any of the MODUS events recently and one player that has seemed to get the better of him often has been Wessel Nijman but the young Dutchman didn't have that luck tonight as he was beaten in a 5-3 victory by RVB.

Barney ended up hitting three ton plus checkouts en route including a brilliant 120 checkout which made for 71 percent on his doubles compared to Nijman who was down at 3/9 despite hitting four 180's and a 96 average en route.

For Nijman, his doubles were also an issue as he faced 'Madhouse' Ritchie Edhouse and he was beaten 5-2 in a match that saw him miss 19 darts at doubles and lose out for the second time tonight.

Another player though who has not lost yet and seems to be on a roll is David Evans who has been the standout player in the past two weeks so far of MODUS Live Action and he smashed Scott Mitchell 5-0 to continue that.

This was all completed with a 94 average and 5/9 on the doubles en route from 'Stretch' who will hope to claim the group win tonight which will put him into a good position already for maybe even two weeks from two (albeit in different tournaments).
