Dimitri van den Bergh produced a stunning victory to defeat Paul Lim and set down a benchmark in his route through to the Third Round at the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship.
Van den Bergh averaged over 105 and hit six 180's en route to a comfortable straight sets triumph and speaking afterwards, he admitted he couldn't leave anything to chance against Lim.
“I think I showed what I am capable of and I’m happy I was able to be at the top of my game,” said Van den Bergh.
“I knew I couldn’t give Paul a chance and I didn’t. I feel like I am coming here as one of the best players in the world after winning in the World Matchplay and I think my performance proved that I am.”
