Dimitri van den Bergh edged past Gary Anderson to claim his spot in the semi-finals of the Nordic Darts Masters, the opening World Series tournament of the season.
While no player was at their best, it was Van den Bergh who edged through with his scoring in particular the highlight.
''Gary and I didn't perform the way we can. We missed a lot of doubles. I'm really happy I had a lot of 180's'', said Van den Bergh after his win over Anderson.
The Dreammaker takes on Fallon Sherrock on Saturday evening in the Semi-Finals, as the Queen of the Palace received a bye into the last four following Gerwyn Price's withdrawal due to an elbow injury.
''She's definitely a crowd-pleaser. The crowd is definitely going to be on her back. I will be nervous, as usual, but I'm going to like it. You can not underestimate Fallon, or any player. Whether it is a male or female, because they can all win against you. But also you've got to think you can win against them because otherwise it's going to be a tough draw.''
