Van den Bergh to start the final missed two darts at double 20, which handed Lewis an immediate break of throw. He landed the same target again to double his advantage.
He was streaking away with a 121 and 123 checkout in a 4-0 lead. Van den Bergh returned to the foray though with a ten-darter and after Lewis broke to make it 5-2, he smashed in a 160 checkout for 5-3.
Van den Bergh continued his charge from there coming from 4-0 down, he dragged it back to parity and hit the front with a 120 checkout to make it 6-5.
He went one away from there at 7-5 and secured the title from there to complete the comeback.
