The crowd in Amsterdam will get to see a thrilling Dutch tie between Dirk van Duijvenbode and Jeffrey de Zwaan in the first round of the
World Series of Darts Finals. This event will be held from 29 to 31 October in the AFAS Live in the Dutch capital city.
Besides Van Duijvenbode and De Zwaan, four other Dutchmen will play in the first round. Danny Noppert will play José de Sousa, while Niels Zonneveld has been linked to Dave Chisnall in the draw for the World Series of Darts Finals. Vincent van der Voort takes on Nathan Aspinall.
Maik Kuivenhoven also makes his appearance at this tournament. He will face John Henderson. The winner of that match will play
Michael van Gerwen, the seventh Dutch player in Amsterdam, in the second round.
Van Gerwen has a bye in the opening round, just like the other seven seeded players.
Gerwyn Price plays against the winner of the Dutch match between De Zwaan and Van Duijvenbode. Dimitri van den Bergh is the opponent of Noppert if The Freeze beats De Sousa. Van der Voort has Jonny Clayton as a possible opponent in the Last 16, while Gary Anderson is the seeded player in the section with Zonneveld and Chisnall.
Madars Razma, who has a protected status because he reached the quarter-finals at the Nordic Darts Masters, plays against James Wade or Mervyn King.
Fallon Sherrock will face either Krzysztof Ratajski or Gabriel Clemens, while
Peter Wright meets either Kim Huybrechts or Michael Smith.
