Dimitri van den Bergh is once again into the semi-finals at the
Nordic Darts Masters after breezing past Gerwyn Price in a dominant display in Copenhagen.
Van den Bergh lost out to Fallon Sherrock last year who could face him in the semi-finals if she overcomes the red-hot Michael Smith in the second Quarter-Final this afternoon.
But it was a 10-5 win for the Belgian who averaged 99.4 with four 180's and a high checkout of 144.
The dominance was shown early on as he smashed his way into a 3-1 lead with the aforementioned 144 checkout before registering his first 180 of the match to sit 4-1 up at the first interval.
Price hit back with a 1`27 and 76 checkout to break as he looked for parity but missed darts proved to be his undoing as Van den Bergh extended his advantage to 6-3.
Price hit back with an 86 checkout but Van den Bergh continued to extend his lead with an 89 checkout on the bull to move three clear at 7-4. This proved the final nail in the coffin of sorts as he went on to break and consolidated to make it 9-4.
Price offered one final resolve in a 120 checkout but Van den Bergh completed the job 10-5.
