Van Duijvenbode after stunning straight sets win over Hunt: "I think there's more in the tank"

Dirk van Duijvenbode is through to the Last 16 of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after seeing off Adam Hunt in a straight sets win.

Van Duijvenbode hit 50% on the doubles, a 104 average and four 180's en route and believes there is more to come.

"I wasn't happy with the way I started the other two games and I was like you need to start well from scratch and first leg wasn't that good and he hits the 145 with me sitting in a double," said Van Duijvenbode post match.

"What can I say, I played well, he played well but I think I hit some crucial finishes to win it because I think he was very close to winning it as well with the same score."

"The last two sets I felt like how I practiced, the first two sets, it felt ok. I was speaking with my mate and if I got the throw like I need to throw, I hit a 180 every leg at least. Eventually I didn't hit that much 180's so I think there's more in the tank."
