Van Duijvenbode, Clemens, O'Connor and Evans among qualifiers for World Series of Darts Finals

The qualifiers for the World Series of Darts Finals have now been revealed with Dirk van Duijvenbode, William O'Connor, Gabriel Clemens and Ricky Evans among the successful qualifiers.

Things did not go easy for Van Duijvenbode, who surprisingly did not receive a direct invitation from the PDC to the event at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam. The Westlander had to do it on his own merits, recording difficult victories over Stephen Burton (6-5), Jules van Dongen (6-5) and Boris Krcmar (6-4).
Keegan Brown, Martin Schindler, Ricky Evans, Graham Usher, William O'Connor, Gabriel Clemens and Daniel Klose also managed to book their spot at the showpiece event.

- I loved Jan and loved his walk on music "Explode" by Jordan & Baker. I think if he stuck around the BDO he definitely would have been World Champion, should have won in 2014, he never really showed any of his talent in the PDC. I remembered he worked in a bank or in finance and maybe that was his priority, he was also a fan and interested in magic. Definitely should have achieved much more in darts than he did.
